This space was born from both purpose and pain.
I'm Sandy—a leader, listener, and lifelong learner. I write about leading well, living with intention, and building deep, human connection.
But underneath all of that is something more tender: grief.
Grief has shaped how I see the world, how I show up for others, and how I lead. It’s taught me the power of presence, the necessity of slowing down, and the sacredness of asking, “How are you, really?”
This blog is where all those threads come together. Purpose. Connection. Leadership. And grief—the quiet teacher behind them all.
If you're carrying something heavy, you're not alone. If you're figuring out how to lead with your whole heart, you're in the right place.

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
This space was born from a deep desire to explore what it truly means to be human—together. Here, we’ll gather around stories and reflections that touch on the heart of community, the strength of connection, and the healing power of compassion. We’ll talk about grief—the kind that changes you—and how we show up for one another in the middle of it all. We’ll talk about leading ourselves, caring for ourselves- so we can show up for others.

Because life is not a solo journey. We were never meant to walk through joy or sorrow alone.
Whether you’re in a season of loss, celebration, questioning, or quiet growth, you belong here. In sharing our experiences—raw and real—we begin to understand that our pain, our love, our longing, and our hope are all threads in a much larger tapestry.
This is also a place to remember our purpose and our worthiness. Not as something to earn, but something already within us. When we begin to live from that truth, we give others permission to do the same. Our light doesn’t dim when we share it—it multiplies.
So, come as you are. Bring your heart, your stories, your truths. Let’s listen, learn, grieve, celebrate, and grow—together.
With care and intention,
 Sandy

Meet Sandy

I believe in the power of connection, compassion, and possibility. For over four decades, I’ve helped individuals and communities grow, heal, and navigate change with courage and clarity. A core part of my work includes supporting people as they learn to integrate and move through grief and loss—honoring their story while rediscovering strength and meaning.

Rooted on the shores of Lake Bemidji, I bring a blend of heart, experience, and grounded leadership to every conversation. Whether you’re seeking personal alignment, community connection, or guidance through life’s transitions, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Let’s explore what’s possible—together.
